Install lockwasher (Figure 10, Item 2) and nut (Figure 10, Item 1) on spindle (Figure 10, Item 3) and tighten to
250 to 300 lb-ft (339 to 407 N·m).
21.
Install set screw (Figure 10, Item 6) on lockwasher (Figure 10, Item 2).
22.
Install gasket (Figure 11, Item 2) and hub cap (Figure 11, Item 1) with six washers (Figure 11, Item 4) and
screws (Figure 11, Item 5) on hub (Figure 11, Item 3). Tighten screws to 180 to 240 lb-in (20 to 27 N·m).

Brake drum weighs 125 lbs (57 kg). Attach suitable lifting device prior to removal. Failure to
comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
