Perform Step (15) for spindle mounted seals.

Remove wiper seal (Figure 4, Item 2) from axle spindle (Figure 4, Item 1).
NOTE
Perform Step (16) if studs are damaged.

Remove studs (Figure 4, Item 6) from hub (Figure 4, Item 7). Discard damaged studs.

CLEANING/INSPECTION
1.
Inspect bearing parts for corrosion or damage. Replace all parts that are corroded or damaged.
