TRANSMISSION SHROUD REPAIR (Sheet 4 of 6)

11.

Using 3/4 inch socket and 3/4 inch wrench, remove three turnlock fasteners (S) from both sides of shroud (E).

Throw self-locking nut away.

12.

Using putty knife, remove insulation (T) from shroud (E).

CLEANING AND INSPECTION:

1.

Using dry cleaning solvent (Item 54, Appendix D) and rags (Item 65, Appendix D), clean all parts of transmission

shroud.

2.

Inspect assembly for worn or damaged parts.

3.

Replace faulty parts.
