TOW DISABLED CARRIER
WARNING
Braking from high speeds when you tow with tow cables or tow bar can jackknife vehicles.
Jackknife could injure personnel and damage vehicles. Do not tow at speeds over 10 mph
(16 km/hr) with tow bar.
WARNING
Tow cables can snap and injure personnel. Close all hatch covers before you use tow cables to
tow carrier. Clear personnel out of danger area.
CAUTION
When towing with tow cables, do not disconnect disabled carrier’s drive shafts between
differential and final drives. Also, do not use cables to tow a carrier more than 30 miles or faster
than 10 mph (16 km/hr).

If blocked, unblock carrier tracks (WP 0050 00).
2.
Shift range selector of disabled carrier to N range (WP 0004 00).
