Install air cleaner hose (WP 0183 00).

2.

Remove five screws (1), washers (2), plate (3), and two spacers

(4) from driver’s compartment bulkhead.

3.

Ensure that air control valve handle is pushed in (see your -10).

4.

Inspect air control valve baffle (5) for operation.

5.

Are air control valve parts in good condition and operating

properly?

1.

Repair air control valve

(WP 0187 00).

2.

Report problem to supervisor.

1.

Engine does not produce full power.

2.

Install plate on driver’s compartment bulkhead. Beyond

unit maintenance repair.

3.

Notify your supervisor.

1.

Check to see if fuel has no air bubbles as it comes out

of return fuel hose.

2.

Does fuel with no air bubbles come out of return fuel hose?

BYN

1.

Air leak in suction side of fuel

system.

2.

Tighten all connections on valves,

fuel hoses, filter, and pump from fuel

tank to fuel pump.

3.

Replace damaged hoses and/or

fittings (see Chapter 6).

4.

Verify no faults found.
