1.

Remove instrument panel for access (WP 0238 00).

2.

Remove front main harness plug (1) from lighting

control switch jack (2).

3.

Remove front main harness circuit 40 plug (3) or (4) from

failing instrument panel light (5) or (6).

4.

Measure resistance between front main harness lighting

control switch plug (1), pin B (7), and failing circuit

40 light plug (3) or (4).

5.

Does multimeter read 0 ohms?

B2YN

1.

Install bulbs.

2.

Repair front main harness circuit

40 (WP 0312 00).

3.

Verify no faults found.

B3Y

1.

Install front main harness plug on lighting control switch jack.

2.

Replace instrument panel light assembly (WP 0240 00).

3.

Verify no faults found.
