REPLACE DIFFERENTIAL GEARBOX TO DIFFERENTIAL HOSE AND

FITTINGS — Continued

Remove screw (7), washer (8), clamp (9), and oil hose (5) from differential (10).

3.

Disconnect oil hose (5) from two elbows (11) and (12).

4.

Remove elbow (11) from differential (10).

5.

Remove elbow (12) from differential gearbox (13).

INSPECTION-ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTION CRITERIA

1.

Check fittings, hardware, hoses and differential housing for leaks, cracks, wear and damage. Replace as needed.

INSTALLATION

WARNING

Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These

compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you

dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.

Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.

Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.

Applyathin

,evencoatofsealingcompoundtocleaned external threads of elbows (1) and (2).

2.

Install elbow (2) in differential gearbox (3).

3.

Install elbow (1) in differential (4).

4.

Connect differential oil hose (5) to elbows (1) and (2).

5.

Apply antiseize compound to external threads of screw (6).
