REPAIR DRIVER’S HATCH (M901A1 ONLY) — Continued

INSTALLATION

1.

Install spacer (1), guide (2), two washers (3), and screws (4).

2.

Install two shims (5), catch (6), two washers (7), new lockwashers (8), and screws (9).

3.

TIGHTEN TWO SCREWS (9) TO 120-144 LB-IN (14-16 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench (WP 0780 00, Item 100).

WARNING

Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These

compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you

dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.

Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.

Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.

NOTE

Before installing support (10) to deck, apply a .006-inch high and .12-inch wide bead of sealing

compound around the hole through the deck for handle (11). Do not allow sealing compound to

dry before installing support to deck.
