Install yoke (20), spacer (21), spacer (22), shield (23), and 17 springs (24).

Move yoke (20) to open position.

9.

Install cap (25), two screws (26), washers (27), and new locknuts (28).

10. TIGHTEN TWO NUTS (28) TO 48-70 LB-FT (65-95 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench (WP 0780 00, Item 104).

11. Move yoke (1) to closed position.

12. Place hatch cover (2) into position.

NOTE

A minimum of one washer (3) and (4) is required between hatch cover (2) and yoke assembly (1).

13. Using washers (3) and (4), center latch assembly (5) within stop assembly (6), allowing maximum movement of hatch

cover (2) within yoke assembly (1). This allows engagement between latch assembly (5) and stop assembly (6).
