REPLACE TOWING HOOK AND EYE PAD — Continued

INSTALLATION
NOTE
The torque is different for the new style front towing eye pads.
NOTE
Two tow hooks (2) should be on the front eye pads (3).
1.
Place eye pad (3) on rear of carrier. Secure with six screws (4). TIGHTEN SCREWS TO 130-140 LB-FT (176-190
N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench.
NOTE
Front towing eye pad is marked “TOP”. Use only the top six holes for securing the towing eye
pad to the hull. The other holes are for future use.
2.
Place front towing eye pad (3) on front slope of carrier. Secure with six screws (4). TIGHTEN SCREWS TO 151–166
LB-FT (205–225 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench.
3.
Install hook (2) on eye pad (3). Secure with pin (5) and clip (1).
