REPLACE HIGH-STOW BRACKET (M901A1 ONLY) — Continued

INSTALLATION
1.
Install high-stow bracket (14) on deck (21). Secure with six washers (22), new lockwashers (23), and screws (24).
2.
TIGHTEN SIX SCREWS (24) TO 50-55 LB-FT (68-75 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench.
CAUTION
Excessive clearance between the high stowage erection arm stop and the side plate of the
launcher high stow bracket may cause damage to the system.
3.
Adjust clearance between plate (13) and the high stowage erection arm stop.
a.
With the launcher in the stow position, use a feeler gauge to measure the distance between the high stowage erection
arm stop and plate (13) of the launcher high stow bracket (14).
c.
If the sum of the two measurements exceeds .060 inch (1.524 mm), add shims (12) between high stow bracket (14)
and plate (13) as required to reduce the sum of the measurements to .060 inch (1.524 mm) or less.
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Lower launcher (see your -10).
