INSTALLATION

WARNING

Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These

compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you

dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.

Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.

Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.

NOTE

Surface on seal marked BOND THIS SIDE should be glued to hull.

Apply adhesive to mating surface around vision block opening. Allow to become tacky. Install new seal (8) on hull.

NOTE

Steps 2 - 4 apply to M1064 only.

Install washer (7) and bolt (6) in driver’s hatch. TIGHTEN BOLT TO 54-59 LB-FT (73-80 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque

wrench (WP 0780 00, Item 104).

Install arm (3) on bolt (6). Secure with washer (5) and screw (4). TIGHTEN BOLT TO 144-168 LB-IN (16-19 N·M)

TORQUE. Use torque wrench (WP 0780 00, Item 103).

4.

Install spring (2) and thumbscrew (1) in arm (3). Deform first thread of thumbscrew to prevent easy removal.
