REPLACE DRIVER’S HATCH INTERIOR LOCK AND LATCH — Continued

ADJUSTMENT

NOTE

1.

Turn clevis (5) on eyebolt (4) until hatch closes tightly on hull in the latched position with maximum clearance of

3/32 inch (2 mm). Tighten nut (3).

2.

Turn lug (2) until latch (6) is in line with clevis (5) or 1/4 inch (6 mm) maximum above clevis in the latched position.

Tighten nut (1) on lug.

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Close hatch. Check that hatch lock and latch are properly installed.
