Never perform stall check.
Transmission can be damaged.

a.
Immediately after road test cautiously feel
all wheel and idler hubs for noticeable
difference in temperature between hubs.
An overheated hub indicates that bearing
is out of adjustment, poorly lubricated, or
unserviceable.
A hub out of
adjustment,
poorly
lubricated, or
unservicable.
b.
Check temperature of shock absorbers.
They should feel warm. A cold shock has
failed.
Any Class III
leaks or cold
shocks.
c.
Visually check inside, outside, and
underneath carrier for any fuel, oil, or
hydraulic leaks.

Idle Test
CAUTION
Avoid lengthy engine idling. This causes
coolant temperature to drop below
operating temperature and can shorten
engine life.
a.
Run engine at 800 RPM for 3-5 minutes
with range selector in 2-3 range and brakes
locked until operating temperature is
reached.
Engine runs
hot or rough.
