Check screws on power plant grille
for looseness. TIGHTEN LOOSE
SCREWS TO 100-120 LB-FT (136-163
N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench
(WP 0926 00, Item 79).
Damage
prevents door
from closing,
sealing, and
locking.
WARNING
Power plant door may spring open.
When opening door, stay out of door
path. Soldiers can be injured.

Check power plant front access door seal
for cracks, cuts, stiffness, and looseness. If
seal is loose, tighten. If seal is damaged,
replace (WP 0472 00).
NOTE
See Step 5c under General Maintenance
Instructions to perform chalk test.

Check for tight seal on door in closed
position. Perform chalk test.
