REMOVAL

NOTE

Wire is doubled over itself as a safety measure. If there is nothing wrong or defective with cable

assembly or control lever, DO NOT straighten or cut wire.

1.

Straighten out wire (1) or cut off wire to allow it to be removed. If too much wire is removed, discard cable assembly

after removal from bulkhead.

2.

Loosen front setscrew (2) that secures front collar (3) to end of cable assembly (4). Pull cable out of clevis pin (5) and

loosen rear setscrew (6) on rear collar (7). Remove front and rear collar from cable assembly.

Remove cotter pin (8) and two washers (9) that secure clevis pin (5) to control lever (10). Remove clevis pin from

control lever. Discard cotter pin.
