REPLACE FLOOR PLATES (M1064A3 ONLY) — Continued

If necessary, remove two pads (22) and (23) and three seals (24) and (25) from crossmembers by scraping.
INSTALLATION
1.
If pads (1) thru (5) or seals (6) and (7) were removed, apply light coat of adhesive to crossmember mating surfaces.
Allow surfaces to become tacky. Install pads and seals on crossmenbers and press surfaces together firmly.
2.
Install guard (8), two screws (9), washers (10), and new locknuts (11) on rear floor plate (12).
3.
Place rear floor plate (12) in carrier. Secure with two lined washers (13) and screws (14).
