INSTALLATION

1.

If grommet (12) was discarded, install new grommet in power plant bulkhead.

2.

Install exhaust pipe (13) in grommet (12). Install exhaust pipe (14) on exhaust pipe (13).

3.

Align two exhaust pipes (14) and (10) and two new bulkhead gaskets (11) with power plant bulkhead. Secure with four

screws (15) and new locknuts (8).

4.

Place new elbow gasket (4) on intake elbow (1). Install intake elbow (1) in top deck.

5.

Place new elbow gasket (4) on exhaust elbow (3). Install exhaust elbow (3) in top deck.

6.

Secure two elbows (1) and (3) to top deck with six screws (2).

NOTE

Perform Step 7 on all vehicles except M1068A3 and M577A3. Perform Step 8 on M1068A3

and M577A3.

7.

Secure exhaust pipe (10) to exhaust elbow (3) with U-bolt (5), clamp (6), and two nuts (7).

8.

Secure exhaust pipe (10) to exhaust elbow (3) with clamp (9).

9.

Connect elbow (16) to intake elbow (1) and place clamp (17) on intake elbow (1).
