REPLACE M14 NBC HOSES AND BRACKETS (M113A3 AMBULANCE ONLY) —

Install ﬁve clamps (1) on hose assembly (2). Secure clamp to top plate with ﬁve screws (3) and new lockwashers (4).

8.

Install hose assembly (2) on air puriﬁer (5) and tighten clamp (6) on hose (2).

9.

Install bracket (7), two screws (8) and washers (9) on top plate.

10. Install six clips (10), screws (11), and new lockwashers (12) on top plate.

11. Install two hoses (13) on Y-connector (14) of hose assembly (2).

12. Route two hoses (13) around bracket (7) and insert in six clips (10).

13. Install three clips (15), new lockwashers (16) and screws (17) on driver’s bulkhead.

14. Install driver’s hose (18) on air puriﬁer (5), three clips (15), and connector (19).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Connect battery ground strap (WP 0337 00).

2.

Check air ﬂow if NBC system. Follow procedures in TM 3-6680-316-10.
