REPLACE M3 NBC HEATER HOSES AND FITTINGS (M113A3 AMBULANCE ONLY) —

28. Loosen two clamps (26) on inlet hose (27). Remove hose from heater (25) and air puriﬁer (13).

INSTALLATION

1.

Install inlet hose (1) and clamp (2) on air puriﬁer (3). Tighten clamp.

2.

Install inlet hose (1) and clamp (4) on heater (5). Tighten clamp.

3.

Install outlet hose (6) and clamp (7) on heater (5). Tighten clamp.

4.

Install two clamps (8) on outlet hose (6). Secure clamps to bulkhead with two screws (9) and new lockwashers (10).

5.

Secure electrical leads (11) to outlet hose (6) with new straps (12) as required.

6.

If removed, install spring clips (13) on driver’s bulkhead with screws (14) and new lockwashers (15).

7.

Install outlet hose (6) in three spring clips (13) on driver’s bulkhead.

8.

Install outlet hose (6) on connector (16).

9.

Install inlet hose (17) and clamp (18) on air puriﬁer (3). Tighten clamp.
