REPLACE NBC FILTERS AND HOSES (M577A3 ONLY) - Continued

Loosen two clamps (1) and remove hose (2) from filter (3) and manifold (4).

Loosen two clamps (5) and remove hose (6) from filter (7) and manifold (4).

9.

Loosen four nuts (8), open four clamps (9), and remove filters (3) and (7) from bracket (10).

10.

If damaged, remove rubber bumpers (11) from bracket (10) as required.

Discard rubber bumpers.

12.

Cut straps (14) that secure wiring harness (15) to hose (16) and manifold (4).

Discard straps.

13.

Remove screw (17), lockwasher (18), and two clamps (19) from side bulkhead.

Remove clamps from hoses (16) and (20).

Discard lockwasher.

Change 2

11.

If any cotter pin (12) is damaged, remove cotter pin, straight pin (13) and clamps (9) from bracket (10) as required.
