REPLACE M3 NBC HEATER HOSES AND FITTINGS (M113A3 AMBULANCE ONLY) —

19. Install four clamps (16) on patients right inlet hose (13). Secure clamps to top plate with four screws (17) and new
lockwashers (18).
20. Secure wiring harness (19) to right inlet hose (13) with new straps (20) as required.
21. Install right inlet hose (13) and clamp (21) on Y-fitting (22). Tighten clamp.
22. Install two clamps (23) and patient’s upper right inlet hose (24) on Y-fitting (22) and upper right heater (25). Tighten
clamps.
23. Install two clamps (26) and patient’s lower right inlet hose (27) on Y-fitting (22) and lower right heater (28). Tighten
clamps.
24. Install clamp (29) on patient’s upper right inlet hose (24). Secure clamp to top plate with screw (30) and new lockwasher
(31).
25. Install clamp (32) on patient’s lower right inlet hose (27). Secure clamp to top plate with screw (33) and new lockwasher
(34).
26. Secure electrical leads (35) to inlet hoses (24) and (27) with new straps (36) as required.
27. If removed, install spring clips (1) on top plate with screws (2) and new lockwashers (3).
28. If removed, install right bracket (4) on top plate with two screws (5) and new lockwashers (6).
29. Install clamp (7) and patient’s upper right outlet hose (8) on upper right heater (9), three spring clips (1), and right
bracket (4). Tighten clamp.
