REPLACE CABLE ASSEMBLIES W117 AND W118 (M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued

INSTALLATION

1.

Install cable assembly W118 into vehicle, and route cable up through base (15) into external communications box (5).

Have helper assist.

2.

Connect cable assembly W118, plug P105 (12) to jack J135 (13) on signal patch panel box (14).

3.

Install clamps (9) on cable assembly and secure to weldnuts (10) with screws (8), as required.

4.

Install new straps (11) to secure cable assembly, as required.

5.

Install cable W117 (6) and W118 (7) on connector J102 (4) of external communication box (5).

6.

Install cable assembly W117 (6) on connector J101 (3).

7.

Install connectors J101 (3) and J102 (4) on the external communication box (5), secure with 12 screws (1), and new

lockwashers (2).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Install external communication box (see your -20).
