Reconnect driver’s bulkhead-to-master
relay wiring harness to starter protection
relay.
With powerplant wiring harness still
disconnected from inline connector,
disconnect wiring harness from alternator.
Place red lead of multimeter in socket E
(lead 503) at alternator and black lead in
lead 503 connector.
Check for continuity.
Is continuity present?
Repair or replace lead 503 of
powerplant wiring harness (para 8-44).

Replace starter protection relay box
(para 8-31).
