(Long test leads may be needed for some tests;
Driver’s instrument panel cover removed (para 8-17)
16 AWG wire maybe used as an extension.)
Fuel tanks full (TM 9-2350-311-1 O)
A
1. Disconnect lead 29-31 from FUEL LEVEL
gage.
2. Turn MASTER switch ON and check
FUEL LEVEL gage for a reading.
3. If FUEL LEVEL gage shows a maximum
reading, use a jumper wire to ground FUEL
LEVEL gage.
4. Check FUEL LEVEL gage for a reading.
5. Turn MASTER switch OFF.
Does FUEL LEVEL gage show minimum when
grounded and maximum when not grounded?
Go to step F.
