RELAY, GENERATOR/FUEL PUMPS - CONTINUED
Limitations:
Air cleaner blowers will be inoperative causing reduced power output from the engine.
Personnel/Time Required:
1 soldier

Procedural Steps:
1.
Gain access to the generator system and fuel pump relay and the air cleaner blower motor relay.
2.
Set MASTER power switch to OFF.
NOTE
The air cleaner blower relay and the generator/fuel pump relay are
identical.
To maintain an adequate fuel supply to the engine, the air
cleaner blower relay is substituted for a failed generator/fuel pump
relay.
3.
Remove connector P1 of wiring harness W122 from air cleaner blower relay.
4.
Remove connector P1 of wiring harness W123 from generator/fuel pump relay and connect it to air cleaner blower
relay.
5.
Connect P1 of wiring harness W122 to generator/fuel pump relay for safe storage.
6.
Set MASTER power switch to ON.
7.
Record BDAR action taken.
When mission is complete, as soon as practical, repair the equipment/system using
standard maintenance procedures.
