Retaining ring (item 8, WP 0087 00)

Equipment Conditions

Torque converter removed and placed in upright

position on disassembly table (WP 0059 00)

REMOVAL

1. Remove three screws (1), countersunk washers (2) and nine intermediate range clutch plates (3).

2. Remove three bolts (4) and intermediate range clutch anchor (5). Remove springs (6) and pins (7) from anchor.
