REPLACE TRANSFER GEARCASE A, B, OR C WITH SERVICE SPARE TRANSFER

NOTE
If transfer gearcase B or C is being replaced, use retained screw.
12. Install machine key (1) on fan drive shaft (2). Install two-grooved pulley (3) on shaft with washer (4) and cap screw (5).
Tighten screw to 32-38 lb-ft (44-51 N•m) torque. Use torque wrench (WP 0033 00, Item 44).
15. Install all unused parts on unserviceable transfer gearcase.
16. Tag transfer gearcase as unserviceable. Identify gearcase by part number or national stock number and ship to repair
facility.
