7. Pry plain encased seal (Figure 2, Item 6) from inside of cover. Discard seal (Figure 2, Item 6).

INSTALL PUSH ROD COMPONENTS
1. Using a 1/2 inch drive, 13/16 inch socket as a driver, drive against the identif cation numbers on new plain
encased seal (Figure 2, Item 6).
2. Install new plain encased seal (Figure 2, Item 6) to a f rm seat against the shoulder in the bore.
