CAUTION

Fuel tube assemblies are pre-formed for exacting fit. Do not bend fuel tube

assemblies during installation as this may cause the pre-formed radius-bend to

crimp or buckle.

Do not over torque the captive nuts on fuel tube assemblies during installation.

Excessive tightening will twist or fracture the flared-ends of the fuel tube and cause

fuel leaks.

Align flared-ends of fuel (return) tube assembly (Figure 37, Item 12) with adapter fitting (Figure 37, Item 14)

on fuel injector (Figure 37, Item 1) and fuel (return) nipple (Figure 37, Item 13) on cylinder head assembly.

Slide two captive nuts (Figure 37, Item 11) over flared-ends of fuel (return) tube assembly

(Figure 37, Item 12) and loosely thread onto adapter fitting (Figure 37, Item 14) and fuel (return) nipple

(Figure 37, Item 13).
