GENERATOR DRIVE GEAR TEST

NOTE

The drive gear test is to be performed when generator output is

questionable and whenever the generator is replaced (WP 0051).

Refer to WP 0021 (Generator Abnormal Operation).

There are two methods of testing the drive gear: the first one is with

the gear installed on the engine, the other is a bench test.

Use the

method that best suits your situation.
