To prevent the probleM, transmitter heads, where pOssIBLe,
stay with the same radIo set. Áo±'t shIft 'em around. When you have to
shIft 'em, dOublecheck the connector to be sure it Makes contact¶

Has the RT-6Ô2 azimuth counter of
your AN/PPÕÖ×A radar set Øot in a j´m
lately?
Ùf so, get it Úeplaced, because chances
are good that your azimuth readinØs on
all targets are wrong.
Âike, if the counter j´ms .
.. and moVes
on .
.. Ûhe counter clutch slips. And you'Ve got loss of azimutÜ alinement. Which
means your set has to be realined and the coÝnter replaced.
ÕoÞcheck azimÝth cOVeraØe at the contrOl inßicator at least àwice durinØ a mIssio±
and at the end of the mission.
To check, you'Ve gOt to know áour
sector coverage limits. The target aziâ
muth should
