Always use ofset screwdriver FSN
5120-287±2130 to get the obturator
seal out. Put a bl²de o³ the screw´
driver behind the seal and gently pull
iT toward you. Be very careµl Hot
to damage the seal w¶en you pry it
out. I· it sticks, Work gently until
it loosens¸ Be caReµl not to use too
much ·orce. ¹emember, a reGular
screwdºiVer is no good »r this Work.

ing, orDer a new one¸ It's listed with
your primary armament tools and
equipment on page B-9 o³ Ch 9 to

66).
Store it in the tool bag.
Once you get the obturator seal and
its seat in good shape, keep 'em that
way with cleaning and lubrication,
like so:
1¸ Open the breech anD take out
the obturator seal.
2¿ Àit¶ a so³t rag, wipe all Dirt,
powDer anD cºuD Áom the obtuºatº
seal, seal cavity and surºounDing
exposed sur³aces. ¹emember, no
steel Ãool or other abºasive.
3¸ Look everything over. Äake
sure it's clean. (You need aÅl t¶e lig¶t
you can get Ær t¶is. I· you canÇt get
more t¶an a Èas¶lig¶t, at least get
one wit¶ Ées¶ batteries.)

(PL±S) on all tËe ÌleaneD areas;

launc¶er tube retaining grÂoVe.
7¿ LeaVe breec¶ backeD out but
not rolleD ÂVer. (¾¶is lets air circu´
late and reDuces conDensatiÂn.)
