Each mechanic is issued a tool

The kits are issUed to the mechanic by
hand receipt. When they're not in Use,
the toOl sets shoUld be kept und±r lock
and keY, too.
Small tooLs must be controlled as
well² However, the best way to handle
small
tools
is
to
mount them on
toolboards. That way yoU can keep
tabs on the tools with ease. Make sure,
though, the toolboard is in a secUre
place.
A c³eck-oUt system is another method to Keep tabs on small tools. ´oU can
have yµur mechaniCs sign out for each tool on a clipboard. ¶r, yoU can assign
metal
·
tags to each mechanic and have them hang their tags on the tool hooks.
Whatever system you use, somebody mUst keep on top of it¸and that's yoU!
´oU should also inventory the tools at least every 30 days.
As far as motor pool paperwork goes¹ these ºare the only files, forms anD
