your lever-you've got a good one
There are 2 ways to check steer lever on Your truck:

Start the engine. Turn the
stEering Wheel to left± Now turn it
fuLl right± Have a buddY Watch the
ball studs where theY go through
the lever. If there's anY moVe-
ment, deadline the truck and
replace h
ever.
Shake links-
±f ball ²tud moves
±n steer±ng leVer
-replace the lever

Grab and shake each drag
²ink where it attaches to the baLl in
the steer Lever. If You hear a
clicking noise or see anY mOve-
ment, the balL studs are Loose.
Deadline the truck and replace the
Lever.

Don't trY to make the fix shown in TB
That fix is a bummer, too.
³hen You check levers off Your truck, look for less than 1/´6 inch of stud
sticking thRu the Lever± µr a loose ball stud± If You find anY of that, the lever
is bad.
A¶l levers under contract number DSA 700·74·C·A258, DSA 700·77·C·3352,
DSA 700¸75¹MZF4º and DSA 700·78·2»9» are bad. Turn 'em in to supplY.
