coµµected in series to produce 24 volts¶in an M151A2 ¸on truck¹
He touched tºe multimeter probes to the Ends oF the shoRt cabLe
coµµectiµg the batteries» expectiµg to gEt a voltage reading.
¼aturaLly½ he got no reading at alL¹ ¾e might jUst as WeLL ºave beEµ
trying to get voltagE from a Rock. ¿ith a start like that-one oF the
siÀpLest tests in eLectricaL troubleshooting¶iÁ was painFuLly clear that
aµy Furtºer checks oF the sYstem werE 'way out oF his range¹
µusuaL? ¼ot at aLl¹ An ongoing survey in the Army reveals many such
sºockers¹ Ãach case representÄs a lot oF doLlars down the drain. Åhis staRts
with the cost oF trainiµg the mechaµÆc¹ Åheµ there's thE pay he gets for
