ProbLems like these are caused bY
too much preSsure in the discharge
system. ²ou get this when you operate
the systE³ in too high a gEar or by
running the engine too fast´
If you use a 1-in nozzLe to pump gas
iNto an M880µseries 1¶/·ton truck, you
cAn add to the woes¸ The smaLler
nozzle restricts fuel fLow and runs up
the pressure in the sYstem´
¹oLution? ¹Low down the pump! If
your tanker has A multiFueL engine, use
second gEarºno highEr! ThAt's thE
