When you store the cabLes, put on
their protective covers¹ ºhen you lay
them out for testing, kee» the covers
on
until
you connect

protects the pins anD contacts ½¹¹ which
need protecting.

cLosest together on top and sLIghtLy to the Left.
HoLd tÄe conÇector paraLLeL to tÄe M901 deck anD gentLy push the keys into
pLace on tÄe jack¹
ºheÇ theyËre LIned Ìp, keep hoLDIng tÄe coÇÇector paraLLeL anD push it
fIrmLy Into pLace ÌÇtIL tÄe threaDs oÇ the connector aÇD jack mate¼
ÍIgÄten tÄe cÎÇÇector.
ºhen the connector and MGS jack are sÇuggeD Ì»tigÄt, do tÄIs:
Eyeball tHe mark
on tHe MGS jack
(usually at 3 o'Clock on tHe jack)
Ïow, paInt a LIÇe oÇ the º¶ caBLe coÇnector Äead directLy In LIne with tÄe
one on the MGS jack. ÐonËt put tÄe LIne on the coÇÇector ringÑIt moves¹
Ïext time yoÌ conÇect tÄe º¶, jÌst LiÇe Ìp tÄe LInes ¹¹¹ so to speak¹
