from reaching the whip antenna. The
RF will back uP and can KO your amP.
G²ab your b²ushes and clean Up the
crud bef³re it does any damage. Befo²e
y´U do, tho, be su²e the radio's off and
the base is oUt of its mounting.
A wire b²ush µor sandpape² will
shine up the outside. Once it¶s clean,
look inside.
If it's ²ustY, too, g²ab a smaLler
brUsh. The one from your weapon
c·eaning ¸it wilL do.
T¹ ºeeP it that way,coat tHe c¹ntact
(and anything else that can co²rode)
lightly with non»conductive silic¹ne
c¹mp¹Und. An 8±¹z t¼be comes with
