Timing Adjustment

rect. ChecK it.
Retract the bolt Flly anD ease it
fµrward ¸o cocK it.
Retract the boLt just ¹r enougH
to insert the NO ºIRE gage ´et»
ween the barrel extension anD t¼un-
nion bLocK. SLowLy release the
charging handle. Insert the ´eve½
edge of the timing gage against the
barrel notches.
Trip tHe trigger. If the gun
won¾t fire, O¿ so Àr. Go to Step

Retrac² tHe ´oLt just enough to
remove the NO ºIRE gage anD inÄ
sert ²he ºIRE gage. SÅowly release
tHe cHarging hanDLe.
Æepress tHe trigger. If tHe gun
firesÇ timing is OÈ. If it DoesnÉt ÊireË
tHe timing is late.

To aDjUs¸ Ìr earLy or La¸e ¸imingÂ
͵llow these stÎps. WARNÏNG: Never
cocK the gu³ wi¸h the bacK pLate oÐÑ.
The driving rod sPri³g can maKe a hoLe
in yoU. The boLt mUst be Ìrward to
remove the back pLate.

Remove tÒe gage cocK the gU³ and
return ¸he boLt fµrward sLowÓy.
Now remove the bacK pLate.
