Dangling, loose or poor¹F´tting oil
Filler caps cause lots oF labor pains Âr
aircraFt Mechanics.
Åube that leaks because a cap is loose
or the ƹring doesn't seal causes Çore
than a mess in the engine compartMent.
IF you put an oil F´ller cap on wrong,
oil can be pumped out when the engine
is running. È Éw minutes at zero oil
pressure and you can k´ss an engine
goodÊbye.
¼ trAnsMission oil cap that comes
loose in FËight can get hung up in the
cyclic controls. That's bad news Âr
