TOo SCREWED UP?
There's a lot oF pressure on a bAttery when the
hoLddowN's too tight± The top, sides and bottom oF a battery are a lot tHinner
than you might think-aNd they're brittle± Squeezing too hard wilL break a
battery! The battery case wiLl cr²ck± ³cid leaks out and chews up aNy MetaL part´
it touches± Worse, the battery's shot!

WheN you½ve got it right, stop!
Be sure to check battery holddowNs iN New vehicles± The maNu¾cturer may
have le¿ the holddowNs too tight or too loose± Getting 'em right to start saves
a lot oF headaches Later±
