Protect Uniball from Grease
When you Cobra mechs lube your bird's scissors and sleeve assembly, purg-
ed grease flls down inside the sleeve assembly onto the uniball. Grease ruins
the uniball's TeFon±lined beaRings.
So be²re yoU start PumPing lUbe, li³ UP on the swashPlate lower boot, Item
46 in ´ig 5µ51 o¶ TM 55µ1520·236¸23±1. ¹Ut some PaPer towels under the boot
to catch Purged grease.
A³er yoU're through lUbing, use a clean cloth to remove any grease that gets
Past the towels onto the Uniball.

and caUse big Problems. Those covers are so¶t and won't take mUch abuse½
When yoU PUll yoUr ¹M daily, eyeball the UPPer cover. Make sUre the ¹3
and HydraUlic starter lines are not toUcHing tHe cover.

To get more mileage oUt o¶ yoUr tow
bars, take these Precautions:

can tear UP the wheels.
Don't tear up
the wheels

Store the tow bar with the cross-
bar secured.

So the way to go when you need a wheel
rePlacement is with a new housing,

a new swivel wheel. It sliPs right into
the tUbe assembly (Items 36 and 39 in
´ig 1 o¶ TM 55±1730Ê225»23¹).
