when you're not using it.

service· Lower the boom with tHe Auxil¸
iary Power Unit (APU). Support it with

cleaner inºet covers on top o» the ¼uL½¾
IF the APU is out oF action, use one

Move the boom Backward and frward within tHe 4-¶ live boom area described
on Page 2-93 o· TM 9-2350¸256¸10¹ Make su²e tHe boom is operating smoothLy.
Stow the boom and you're back in
business.
