Cut off about

Cut the wIre short enough to keep
the clIps from touching another ter-
mInal or the generator frame in the
open or closed posItion± Slip the wIre
through the hole in the terminal±
Hold the terminal like this and
bend both ends of the wire straight
up. Keep the wire in as straig±t a
line as you can with the terminal

Bend the wire into back-to-back

angles. The legs of both angles
should be about one-±alf inch long³
