Never test the
alarm by blowing
smoke in the air inlet. That fouls the
detector cell. Test the alarm by fol-
lowing the steps in Para 2±9 of T²
3±6665 225± L 2.
Be careful when changing the de-
tector cell. If you twist or jiggle it
roughly, it Will break. To remove the
Cell³ turn the bail nut counterCloCk´
wise and swing the bail away from
the cell.
Gently rock it µack and
forth until you can
pull
the ce¶
straight out. Removing it at an angle
can break the Cell·
Straight out's the word on remov¸
ing the flowmeter¹ too. Never remove
it from either the handle or air inlet
at
an
angle.
That can
µreak
the
fºowmeter's tip¹ which means you
need a new flowmeter.
