When you reassemble the bolt, get things straight. The cam actuator fts on the
bolt either way. BUt the wrong way damages the bolt. The cam actuator's roLler
end goes on the bo±t Frst. The actuator ho±e shoU±d match the bo±t hole.
The long end o² the frIng pin goes in tHe bolt Frst³ The sma±± ho±e iN the end
o² the gUide Fts on the short end o² the FriNg PiN. And the spriNg goes in the
guide. ´t's fring pin ³.³ guide ³.³ spRng.

Âever muscle Up on the traversing and elevating p±unger. You can damage both
the moUnt and plunger.
Âever Çrce the cocÈing handle. You can damage the cocking handle, sa²ety
or operating rod. A stubboÉ cocking handle is oÊen causeD by a saÅË set on
S (SAÌÍ) Instead o² Ì (Ì´Î).

Te±l your armorer i² your M60 won't budge.
When yoU travel, either hold your M60 or brace it. Âever let it lie loose on
a truck ¼oor. A good jo±t can loosen the ±ea² spring pin and bend the tÐIgger guard.
A loose lea² spring pin means the trigger mechanism grip assembly can come out.
A bent trIgger gUard can c»use a rUnaw»y gUn.
