the transmissioI Dipstick. ¹LuiD shoulD
be at or slightly above ²e ºon ·he dip-
stick. ³hat means it's sa» to start the
engine.

ÂF you ever notice the trans¾ission Åuid FÆaming or bubbling, reporÇ it prontoÈ
Éoaming or bubbling usuaÀLy means somebody's added too much trans¾ission
ÊLUid.
You Vulcan crewmen know it's a gooD idea to tape co¾ponents
such as the radar receiver where their covers and cases ¾eet. ³aPe
gives comPonents a better chance oË seaLing out water that can cause
bigÌleague electrical damage.
Ío keeP a rolÎ oË taPe in your toolbox when you go to the FielD.
You'll need it iF you have to break a seaL to do something like ´neÏtÐne
The raDar receiverÏ transmitter. Without the tape, you've lost the seal.
