When you have an axle shaft out to
replace these bearings, you have to be
sure you Get oil to the BearinGs.
To do ±at, raise one end of ±e axle so
²he wheels arE about fOur inches oF the
Ground. Hold it there ³or a couple of

There are tw¸ tyPes of axles used on M915 tractor ¹rUcks. And wheel bearinGs
on ±em use diºerent lubes!
»n older ¼xles, the wheel ½earinGs Get Grease. The Newer axles¾¹he same ones
used oN M915A¿ 's¾have oil lubÀd beaRinGs.
The only way to tell which axle you have is wheN an axle shaft is out. The new
axle doesn't have an outer Grease seal.
The nÁw ¼xle uses a new inner wheel bearinG,
