fOr nicks anD burrs. They make your
gun jam. Your armorer can smooth
them out.
When you pUt ±n or take oFf the bar-
reL, first press down on the barreL re-
taining spring .
.. then tuM the barreL
col²ar. That way you don't chew up
the notches on tHe barreL and receIver.
Pull ratchet spring back
just far enough to clear
the barreL coLlar
But don³t press the barreL retainIng
spring
way
back .
.. just enough
to
clear the coLLar. ´f you muscle it back,
the spring Loses its spring and can't
Lock the barrel in pLace.
Any time the barreµ retaining sprIng
¶eLs weak or Loose, teLl your armorer.
A bad spring Lets the barreL unscrew.

Keep an eye on t·e sear pin. ´t tEnds
to work o¸t. ´f It does, the trigger won³t
work.
¹yebaLL the weLds on the rear of the
receiver, on the magazIne weLL, and on
the gun stock extensIon ºr cracks. ´f
you see any cracked weLds, teLL your
armorer.
